I blogged about conventions a while ago but it seems the world of nerds is bigger than I thought — not even conventions are enough to satisfy their insatiable lust for high jinks and nosebleeds.
Reading Novander’s LJ today I was presented with two links to YouTube videos and here they are. The idea is… well John’s words are better than mine:
The videos show the final run, where the players were a team of specialists sent in to blow up the facility. They started with the fireaxe and all guns they could carry. Most runs, you just start with six bullets and have to find the rest if you want to get out alive. It is hella scary keeping a corridor full of zombies back with just an axe while your techs try to unlock the door behind you. For those of you who don’t know me, in those videos I play the part of Pipe-Wielding-Flesh-Hunting Maniac.
Warning! Not for people with phobias of nerdiness.
If that wasn’t enough (you sick, sick person) here’s the second part of this zombie-faux-smashing epic.
