That’s right. The final release of version 2.0 of Mozilla’s Firefox browser is here and ready, a day before it was due to be released.
Why? Mozilla gets everything in place before announcing its release and someone’s been snooping around on their FTP server waiting for the builds to be move into the wild and that happened today.
FF2 is a LOT better and more stable than 1.5. I’ve never had it crash and restarting it is much simpler (as it can remember sessions).
So here you are. Access to all the main languages for all the main platforms. Merry Christmas.
If you don’t want to beat the crowd, you can just wail until to morrow and Firefox should warn you that its going to upgrade. I hope all the extensions I’m using are ready tomorrow too.
